Rose and Crown

The gorgeous Rose & Crown country pub is just a short walk away from our Baytree Farm Holiday Cottages.(Nymph, Tump & Tinkley). It is a dog-friendly pub, with a cosy country pub feel. They have made improvements to the locals pub during lockdown busy during and we are so excited to see the results. On the 4th July 2020, they are opening their garden for table service. They are offering a limited food and drinks menu for the first few weeks and booking is essential, but the important thing is, THEY ARE OPEN!

The Woolpack

The Woolpack is a unique locals pub that is pub treasure. Everyone who knows The Woolpack loves it! They are currently open as a deli, but will be opening their locas pub service on the 4th July 2020. Booking is essential and there is a £10 deposit to reserve the table. Customers will be asked to stay in the garden and will have a maximum of two hours at the pub. You will fall in love with the views, the atmosphere, and the gorgeous drinks menu.

The Frogmill

The Frogmill will remain closed until the 1st of August. However, its sister pub, The Sheep will be opening sooner.

The Sheep

The Sheep on Sheep Street revealed its new look, along with its new name in July 2016. They brought a new dimension to eating and drinking in the holiday cottages Cotswolds, as well as a little Soho style too. They are reopening on the 4th July 2020 and will be adhered to social distancing laws. They will request that customers pre-book through the website and expect limited spaces due to less seating. The restaurant will be prioritized to their hotel guests, but it is worth getting your name down for a table!

The Black Bear Inn

The Black Bear Inn, which is just a few minutes walk from our Dereham Cottage in Moreton. It is reopening on the 4th July 2020 and they will have a marquee set up in the garden. The Painswick is opening their Sunday lunch service and their Afternoon Tea’s from the 16th August 2020. The booking will be required, and they will only be taking bookings for seven days ahead with locas pub. They will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The Plough

This locals pub is a personal favorite of ours. It is a gorgeous old pub in the small village of Prestbury. They will be reopening in the middle of July (an exact date has not been confirmed), with service areas outside in their gorgeous back garden. More information will be provided closer to their opening date.It is not quite back to our old ‘normal’, but thankfully we are starting to see something that resembles our pre-COVID-19 life. We are so excited to be hosting our guests again and we will be working with our locals pub community to provide guests with the best experience possible.Stay safe and we will see you soon!
